Dyke-Davidoff-Masson syndrome

Seizures. Facial asymmetry. Contralateral hemiparesis History of small for gestational age and an emergency cesarean section for fetal distress.

Patient Data

Age: 3 months

Brain MRI clearly demonstrates cerebral hemiatrophy and encephalomalacia involving the posterior frontal and parietal lobes. Skull asymmetry is consistent with Dyke-Davidoff-Masson syndrome.
