Well-circumscribed expansile lesion with soft tissue density localized around impacted supernumerary tooth arising between 2nd premolar and 1st molar teeth.
Odontogenic keratocyts are benign locally aggressive tumors. Odontogenic keratocytes are most of the time unilocular. They are often times associated with impacted tooth. They usually do not show tooth resorption. It is very important to differentiate from ameloblastoma which has more aggressive features; multicystic with solid enhancing components, strongly enhancing thick wall, bone and tooth resorption.
