Persistent shoulder pain in rugby player.

Patient Data

Age: 42
Gender: Male

MRI arthrography

This coronal fat-suppressed T1-weighted image through the supraspinatus insertion demonstrates a contrast filled defect at the articular surface, extending for less than 50% of the thickness of the tendon.

At the level of the upper glenoid labrum is present a slap lesion type 3 (Snyder classification) with the central part dislocated in articulation.
